At Calwell High School we understand the importance of being active in our community.
By contributing to their local community our students gain an understanding of social justice issues. They develop a sense of their place in society and where they can best make a difference today and in their future pursuits. The students gain valuable experiences that help develop integrity, empathy and respect.
A deep sense of community also exists within the school. We enjoy the beneļ¬ts of a highly supportive school community that works to improve the experience for all within Calwell High School.
Parents are actively involved in the school through the School Board, P&C, sport coaching and volunteer work. Our parents are passionately committed to the school and we greatly appreciate their involvement.
Our students play a critical and valued role in their school community and their voices contribute to the school's priorities through involvement in school community forums, student committees and student led activities. Our students acknowledge and celebrate each other's achievements and talents. They develop and enjoy a deep sense of school pride which they carry beyond the school gates. At Calwell High School we nurture the leader within each student to enable them to positively contribute to their community both today and in the future.
