Anti-Racism Policy

Racial discrimination and racial vilification are against the law in the ACT. The ACT Department of Education and Training has instituted an Anti-Racism Policy, which is implemented at Calwell High.

It is important that all complaints are treated seriously and acted upon promptly, with strict respect for the confidentiality of all involved. The focus of anti-racism policies is conciliation rather than confrontation, with the goal of educating young people about the unacceptable nature of racist behaviour.
