Voluntary Contributions
Voluntary financial contributions from parents, carers and other citizens further benefit and support the range of educational programs and activities and the purchase of educational materials.
The school board has suggested that the following voluntary financial contribution will directly support the educational programs and activities provided by the school. Voluntary contributions may be made in full, or by instalments, or in part.
Voluntary Contributions 2008
1 Child Per Family $130
2 Children $200
3 Children or more $250
The school will provide you with further information concerning other voluntary contributions during the semester.
These voluntary contributions can be paid in the following ways:
- Directly through the front office by cash, cheque or credit card from 8.30 am.
- Your child bring a cheque in an envelop with all your details.
- Credit card by phone 62056833.
- Email your credit card details to the registrar shane.harris@ed.act.edu.au.
Section 27 of the Education Act 2004 however clearly states that:
- each contribution must be voluntary
- a child is not to be refused benefits or services because the child's parents do not make a contribution
- a child is not harassed for contributions
- any record of contributions is confidential.
